.177cal Air Pistol is generally shot at a distance of 10 meters.
We have 2 dedicated firing points which can be used concurrantly with other disciplines.

All members are encouraged to enter postal leagues.

Competitions are generally slow fire using single shot or 5 shot magazine pistols, shot from the standing position, one handed with open sights (telescopic sights not permitted) on AIR4/89-18 targets.
Members now generally tend to use Pre Charged Pneumatic (PCP) pistols, although CO2 powered and spring type pistols may be used.

This is a very straightforward discipline for a novice to take part in - but not as easy as it looks!

The pistol range can be used on any club evening from 6.30pm
